The fifth energy center
Throat · Vishuddha
the base of the neck.
What the material holds about it
- The throat chakra is located at the base of the neck.
- The throat chakra is the fifth chakra.
- The throat chakra is visualized as brilliant blue or aqua light.
What is not claimed here. The material does not say what closes a center or what opens one, so neither do we. The familiar red-to-violet color chart is a twentieth-century Western arrangement rather than an ancient one, and the Sanskrit sources describe the colors differently again.
This one answers a tone. A phone rested against it can sound a tone and measure which pitch comes back strongest — answers clearly. Inside the app that becomes a note you can sit with and hum along to.
