The veil
The forgetting that a soul enters third density under: the reason a person does not arrive remembering what they are, where they have been, or what they came to do. It is a condition of the density rather than a punishment or an accident.
What it looks like in a life
It is the reason reaching for a guide feels like reaching into a quiet room, and the reason the reaching counts. Contact that could be felt every hour of every day would cost nothing and prove nothing.
Where it comes from
Distinguished in the corpus from density itself, which is a common confusion: the veil is the forgetting, the density is the level of experience it happens inside.
What it is not
Not a wall somebody failed to get past, and never evidence that a person is doing it wrong. It thins and thickens on its own terms, and a quiet stretch is not an absence.
