Polarity
The direction a soul moves in — service to others, or service to self — and the reason third density exists at all, since it is the density in which that choice is made. The two roads are not symmetrical: graduating toward service to others asks a bare majority, 51% of one's energy given to others, while service to self asks near-totality at 95%.
What it looks like in a life
It is decided in the ordinary rather than the dramatic: what gets done with an advantage, whether honesty survives inconvenience, whether a person's attention is available to anybody who cannot repay it.
Where it comes from
The asymmetry between 51% and 95% is held in the corpus as one of its specific claims, and is the reason service to self is by a wide margin the rarer road.
What it is not
Not good against evil, and never a verdict anybody here hands to a person about themselves. Nothing in My Spirit Team assesses which way somebody is leaning — a polarity is chosen over a life, not measured in an afternoon.
