Density
A level of conscious experience, defined by the lesson it exists to teach rather than by how much a soul can remember. Third density is the density of choice and polarity; fourth is love and understanding; seventh is dissolution back toward the source. There are seven, and an eighth that is the octave itself — completion and the first note of the next at once.
What it looks like in a life
The relevant one for anybody reading this is the third, which is why the choice between service to others and service to self is the live question of a human life rather than an abstraction.
Where it comes from
Held throughout the corpus as the structure the rest of it hangs on, including what a lineage means and what a harvest is.
What it is not
Not a ranking of worth, and never the same thing as a dimension — a density is a level of experience, a dimension is an axis of measurement. And never eight densities: the eighth IS the octave.
