Things arrive already finished. You know, and there is no reasoning underneath it you can show anyone — which is why you have learned to build the argument afterwards, backwards, so the knowing sounds like a conclusion. The knowing came first. It always did.
What it looks like in a life
Being certain and unable to show your work — so you either say it and sound arrogant, or stay quiet and watch it turn out that way.

What it is not
Not arrogance, and not a hunch. A knowing and an assumption feel identical from the inside; only time tells them apart.
